Need a new clutch to complete the perfect outfit? You can easily whip up this leather envelope pouch without any sewing skills at all! All you need is a thick, sturdy leather fabric, a hole punch and some screw on button studs. It's so easy you'll be making one for every outfit you own!

Step 1
Make the clutch a square by cutting a piece of leather 15 inches by 15 inches. You can change this to make it a rectangle by shortening one of the sides.
Step 2
Fold two opposite corners into the middle so that they overlap about an inch where they meet. Fold them down and create a crease at the fold by pressing and smoothing it down with your fingers. Then unfold the leather to make it square again. Do the same for the other two opposing corners.
Step 3
If you look at where two of the crease lines meet along the sides of the leather, you will see them cross over each other. Snip along these lines until the point at which they meet to create a little triangular notch. Repeat this on all four sides.
Step 4
Fold in two opposing corners so that they overlap, and then also fold in a third corner, covering the other two. They should all sit together well because of the notches.
Step 5
Place all three layers in the hole punch and press through them all. Set your hole punch to cut a hole the same size as the thread on the stud. Screw on the button stud through all of the layers.
Step 6
Use the sharp point of a skewer or your scissors to mark two more points along the sides of the top triangle. Press firmly through to reach the layer underneath. Punch holes through all these points (you'll need to do them all separately) and then screw more button studs though the layers, holding them together.
Step 7
Fold the remaining corner in and where it meets the middle stud punch a hole. Push the hole over the ball end of the stud to hold it in place.
